  • Personal checks will only be accepted up to two weeks prior to functions. 

  • If no guarantee is received 10 days prior to the event, Blue Monkey Catering will prepare and bill for the number of persons estimated from the catering contract.  No reduction of guarantee will be accepted after this time period.  The Blue Monkey Catering will set up and prepare 5% over the guaranteed number. 

  • The Hotel will hold function space on a definite basis upon receipt of 25% of the estimated cost of the function or $500.00, whichever is greater.  The balance is due 10 days prior to the function, unless prior billing arrangements have been made.  Tax exempt status certificate must be filed with the Hotel prior to time of payment.  Deposits are non-refundable and will be applied to the final payment. 

  • All catering functions are subject to service charges and applicable state and local state taxes. 

  • Cancellation must be received, in writing, at least 10 days prior to a business function, or two months prior to a social function in order to avoid a cancellation fee. 

  • If a change from the original room set-up is requested on the day of the function, a $50.00 labor charge will be added to the banquet check. 

  • Final menu selections must be submitted two weeks prior to the function to insure the availability of the desired food and beverage items. 

  • No food or beverage of any kind will be permitted to be brought into, or removed, from any banquet/meeting rooms by any guest. 

  • Guests of the function will be admitted to the banquet room and expected to depart at the times stated on the catering contract. 

  • Blue Monkey Catering may request that the customer obtain and pay for bonded security personnel when valuable merchandise or exhibits are displayed or held overnight.  Blue Monkey Catering accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to this merchandise or exhibits. 

  • The customer is responsible for the arrangement and all expenses of shipping materials, merchandise, exhibits, or any other items to and from Blue Monkey Catering.  Blue Monkey Catering should be notified in advance, in writing, of any shipping arrangements.  These items will only be accepted at the Hotel two days prior to or following any functions. 

  • Blue Monkey Catering is not responsible for any items left in the hotel prior to or following any functions. 

  • Blue Monkey Catering reserves the right to move functions to other meeting/function rooms of comparable size, other than those appearing on the catering contract without prior notification if the Hotel deems necessary. 

  • The customer is responsible and shall reimburse the Blue Monkey Catering for any damage, loss or liability incurred by the Hotel by any of the customer’s guests or any persons or organizations contracted by the customer to provide any service or goods before, during and after the function. 

  • Any items to be put on any meeting room or lobby walls, or any directional signs must have proper hanging devices and written approval from authorized Hotel personnel. 

  • If the customer hires, retains or employs entertainment of any kind for the function, the customer will be responsible for any theft or damage to any Hotel property or equipment. 

  • All prices are subject to change with notification whenever possible.  Prices are only guaranteed for 180 days.  Not to exceed a maximum of 10% per year. 

  • The Hotel will be happy to arrange for all audio/visual requirements for your function.  Charges for this, including delivery and setup, will be quoted on an individual function basis.

  • The Hotel shall not be liable for non-performance of this contract when such non-performance is attributable to labor troubles, disputes or strikes, accidents, government (Federal, State and Municipal) regulations of, or restrictions upon travel or transportation, non-availability of food, beverage or supplies, riots, national emergencies, acts of God and other causes, whether enumeration herein or not, which are beyond the reasonable control of the Hotel, preventing or interfering with the Hotel’s performance. 

  • Where appropriate, the term “Hotel” refers to this Hotel and its parent company and/or its management company, and is not intended necessarily to refer to the particular Hotel building where the function is being held.
